Is this Love

IS THIS LOVE?
                LOVE is _______________________.

Have you filled the blank in a nano second? Or are you confused of what love really is? 99 % of people when asked if they have been in loved would answer yes, but few may have a concrete answer of what is their perception of love. So, how are you sure if you really love somebody? Or it is just admiration? Or infatuation? Could you really tell the difference?

Now that you like somebody, what will you do? Don’t pretend that you don’t like someone, because it will surely boost your feelings. Instead, maybe it’s better to take this opportunity to figure out what you really feel. You have to understand the difference between admiration, infatuation and love. This may help you avoid the heart ache.
ADMIRATON – what the eye sees

“Looks can be deceiving.” This has been proven historically. We are easily attracted to what pleases the eyes. According to Pluto, beauty is the greatest seducer of man. So, don’t give meaning to an instant liking to someone who is attractive, its normal, because it’s the reaction of the mind. This is the reason behind advertising; a simple powder put in an extravagant bottle is the best seller. Look for someone who will make you fall in love even with eyes closed.

INFATUATION – what the heart says
“The heart is more treacherous than anything else and is desperate. Who can know it?” the Bible says. This may be deeper than admiration, you may be invested yourself in this feeling. Infatuation is often regarded as love; you have to be very careful. Someone may be blinded by infatuation. You are attracted to his/her personality, and you exaggerate his/her disposition. But infatuation is like a sand castle, it can be ruined in an instant. You may desire someone for now, and after few months, you may have the same feeling, but for another person.
LOVE –what the mind shouts

The mind is wise than the heart. In Love, you see the positive features and weaknesses of someone. Love is never blind, it sees but it doesn’t mind. It accepts everything. A proverb proves that love is not feelings alone, “love is long suffering and kind…….it bears all things, believes all thins, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails.”

A short time may not be enough to identify your feelings. Love can be a process, it may start from admiration, to infatuation and then to love. The best thing to remember is to have patience along with love. The best things come when life is not in rush. Love is worth the wait.

PROM TIPS: Making the best night of your Life

Love is in the air. Weeks from now, the whole world will be celebrating the love month. Valentine’s Day is fast approaching. Others may not celebrate; others may have candle light dinner, a cinema with someone special, a milk tea and a convo or just a fast food snack. But nothing beats the excitement of Junior and Senior high school students who are having their promenade.

Here are some useful tips for your upcoming valentine night which can be the most memorable night of your life. Take note of the following:

1.       Search trends – a beautiful cocktail dress or an elegant tuxedo will make the night abruptly perfect. Using the internet, grab your laptop, tablet or any mobile device that will serve as your stylist for the prom. Choose the design that will make you feel beautiful and confident. If you can afford it’s better to have a made to order dress or tuxedo tailored just for you, make sure it fits fashionably comfortable. But ready to made dresses will do, as long as it brings out the best in you.

2.       Have the best shoes – a promenade is a dinner dance social party, so the best shoes is required. A best shoe is not just the best-looking. It should be the most comfortable. For girls, don’t wear super high heeled stilettos, but flats are also not advisable. It should be high enough to show your posture. For boys, be careful on slippery shoes, designs are not so important as long as it is formal for the event.

3.       Be on time – ‘fashionably late’ is not a good attitude. Its good b=to be just on time, not too early but not too late. Parties like these usually start on time, so don’t miss out the first minutes, because it offers the significant ceremonies.

4.       Enjoy yourself – don’t be a flower in the wall! Enjoy yourself and bring out the best in you. Show your dance steps and don’t be afraid to get to know other schoolmates. It’s a good opportunity to dance with your ultimate crush, and give chance to those who adore you, give them a shot! Save the last dance for someone special.

5.       Stay gorgeous – whatever you’ll do during the promenade, eat, dance or just seat around. Make sure you look your best. Stay gorgeous every minute. A smile in your face adds up.
